Vanity Hair

graduation film

A pony spends months waiting for her dream appointment at the best hair salon in Ponyland.

Once she gets there, her hopes get crushed by the ugly reality of the beauty business – in a world of perfection, there is no place for the ordinary.

In the role of a fairy godmother, comes the cleaning lady, who turns the pony into the next big superstar the pony world so desperately needed.

Endless

trailer for London International Animation Festival

The string takes us into the uncanny world of a character stuck in a repetition compulsion – he is doomed to repeat several social situations with altered versions of himself over and over again.

From the frustration of never being the stronger one in the play of cycling, through the unsatisfaction of always landing in the same place when he in a game of leapfrog, the character shows simplified versions of familiar patterns from the human life.

The trailer is part of London International Animation Festival 2020 and presents the category “Looking For Answers”

Directed and animated by Nicole Pavlov; Animation Assistants Keyu Hu, Xumeng Shen; Music by Bishrel
